Customer support has been great - easy to access and quick replies with their chat feature with a human. Thank you! They also added a feature for me if I bumped to the next tier, and they fulfilled that promise nicely and on time. Such a smoother process and much more friendly than a competitor on AppSumo...

The downsides include that it takes a bit of a learning curve to understand their "branding conference" build for the white label portion, so have to pay attention to which account dashboard you're in for meetings. Seems a little complex to have and learn two different dashboards (one for white label and one for their Meet Hour branding). Also, the ability to upload documents or files (PDFs, Word docs, etc.) in the chat is important and I hope they are making progress on the roadmap with that. Been waiting on the AI transcription feature to be available as well as it has been a while. Another con is that sometimes the video conference with others is glitchy and others were unable to connect successfully (their mic was muted, but I could still hear them talking). So we had to switch everyone to Google Meet anyway, which was inconvenient. Last thing is that I noticed when asking for another feature being available in the future, they try to promote an upsell for me to pay an additional amount for another feature, rather than considering it for an update on their roadmap for appsumo lifetime members...
So there are definitely pros and cons! I'm hoping the product improves from here and that I can rely on the product as a Zoom/Google Meet alternative.

I bought Tier-3 and have been using the software since last week. It’s working flawlessly. What really impresses me is the great support! Every time I’ve had a question, the response has been very fast. I’m planning to upgrade to Tier-5. Best wishes to the Meet Hour team!

I'll change my review after it's fixed. It's a 3-to-4ish star app-- but you'll need to guide users through the install and explain how to override Apple's blocker on the install, which brings it down to negative tacos (and there isn't an option for negative tacos, so I'll settle for 1 taco).

I turned the other cheek on this at first, figured they were still relatively new and it would get fixed-- but that was 6 months ago-- how have you not fixed this yet?

If you can't that part right, you shouldn't be here at all. When asked in the Q&A the feigned ignorance, but they know exactly what their users are dealing with.

Criticism of the Software

It is a very good software as long as you don't use it as a white-label solution and especially as long as you don't want to use the Apple client.

Since the languages are not handled properly, I can't give this software five tacos because it is hardly usable with larger audiences.

It will be difficult to explain to 500 participants how to set the language in their client or how to activate the Apple software module on an Apple device so that it is not recognized as malicious software.

Therefore, the software still has a lot of catching up to do, especially when it comes to providing a white-label solution, as the white-label implementation is not consistent. It is quite difficult to understand when it is a white-label and when it is not. You have to study and read a lot.

The user interface and the use with Tier 5 is unfortunately not well implemented.

I have been using this platform for 2 months now and find it very easy to use. Clients have mentioned they like the fact it is just a link to access the call and they find it easier to use than other platforms. It’s good that they have an app you can download instead of having to use a webpage platform.

I like it has a virtual background option that you can customise, but I wish the background colour of the platform itself could be changed to suit my own branding and preference.

The screen sharing option doesn’t always recognise all the open windows but after bringing the document you want on the screen and going back to screen share it works well.

Private messaging works well. It would be nice to be able to change the colour though.

I haven’t tried the streaming option yet but am looking forward to doing so. There have been no ads showing up when I use it.

I didn’t realise they were back on AppSumo so I’m hoping I can upgrade my tier before they leave.
