Q: Real subdomain on the website + Social media posting

Hello
1. Let us say that we have translated the website into French and Multilipi shows it as fr.oursite.com.
What could happen if we create a real multisite with one of the subdomains being fr.oursite.com?
2. In another chat, a few weeks ago, we talked about adding the social media posting to ability for Multilipi so that, for example, we can post to different Facebook Pages, in the corresponding language. I am following "MultiLipi Roadmap" but still nothing about this in the "Planned Column"
Thank you

A: 1. Real Subdomain and Translation

If you create a real subdomain, like fr.oursite.com, after translating your website with MultiLipi, it could cause conflicts, especially with how the language switcher and content are managed. MultiLipi handles language-based subdomains, and if you introduce a separate multisite setup using fr.oursite.com, it might interfere with how we manage content translation, leading to unexpected issues in SEO or content delivery. We suggest sticking with MultiLipi’s subdomain setup unless you’re confident with handling it manually.

2. Social Media Posting Feature

We understand the value of integrating with social media platforms, especially for multilingual content. Our team is actively working on enhancing MultiLipi, and social media posting is something we’ve planned for future releases. It is part of the roadmap for MultiLipi 2.0, and we are looking to launch this feature as soon as possible. For now, we recommend manually sharing content on different Facebook Pages until the feature is available.

Thank you for your patience and for being a part of our journey!
