The first impulses - ALL IN...

Tier 3 was my only option.

The buy button was triggered.

Honestly, when I compared my phone display to my wife’s, it was clear: ups, folder and document structure—not in line with my nature.

But...
Initially, I had a real love-hate relationship with MyMemo.

Many things simply did not work correctly...

The server speed was super low, the AI like an old grandma with a hearing aid turned down to the quietest level.

What I was looking for was buried somewhere in the bits and bytes of the MyMemo server, without me getting a (reasonable) output.

The refund was lingering like a Post-It in front of my forehead for weeks.

But I noticed that the MyMemo team is truly committed.

They work hard to make everything faster, more stable, and more accurate.

And that shows me, when we leave the tool itself, we are supporting dedicated SaaS founders here.

Which is an important point for me to stay onboard.

Not everything always needs an immediate refund.

As for the tool itself?
Is it perfect?
No!

Will it ever be perfect?
No.
- We humans have different requirements, views, assumptions, habits, ways of working, etc... Therefore, perfectionism is something that cannot be achieved, no matter how high the standards are set.

But...
What MyMemo does is continuous improvement.

Even if the squirrel moves more slowly than some would like. Something is happening.

All functions work, and the path of optimization seems to be the goal here.

What I would like to see and wish for:
- Again a bump to faster servers
- AI improvement in chat, so I don’t have to point out the document for each query in the chat
- Automatic compression of MP3, MP4, PDFs, so higher uploads are possible (saving me a lot of manual prework)
- Floating upload button instead of clicking in the top left corner, submenu, type of upload, and then upload. Automatic recognition of the uploaded file should be a priority!

ALL IN ALL, MyMemo is on the right track, and I am happy to support it, especially because it was initially a love-hate relationship, now even more so.

P.S. Tier 3 should be a minimum for every Sumoling, especially considering what will come in the future, and your limits will no longer be sufficient ;)

Only 11 days left from this review to make a decision!

I was initially drawn to another app and ended up canceling my subscription to MyMemo for a while. At the time, the Android version wasn’t available on the Google Play Store yet, and the app felt a bit slow in terms of performance.
But I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I purchased it again—and now it’s one of my absolute favorite tools. I use it more than almost any other app in my daily life.

If possible, I’d love to see some updates in the future, such as:

1.the ability to scroll through an imported PDF while chatting with AI about its contents,

2.automatic highlighting of relevant sections,

3.keyword search within PDFs,

4.and even better, a feature that can read imported images and generate prompts for image creation.

These would make the app even more powerful and useful!

Update: Thank you for your comment. To answer your question, what I meant was that it would be great if we could create a generation prompt that produces images similar to a single uploaded image. I'm looking forward to future updates.

It has great features that work very well.

However, I see some opportunities for improvement:
- Enhance the extension experience to be similar to what SaveDay offers.
- Provide suggestions for existing collections or prompt the user to create a new one when saving a new item.
- Allow users to choose whether to generate a podcast for newly saved content.

I'm using MyMemo now for a while. I had a lot of good experiences with this tool and like it very much. The only thing I'm really missing is a Firefox-Addon for easy collecting content.

I agree with the good comments here.

What I would like to see is intelligent automatic tagging and filing in future folders with ki.
I know a software that can do this perfectly, so it's like magic because it can predict exactly where it should be filed and which tags should be used.

A check of the links for accessibility. If the link is no longer accessible, it goes into a Broken Links folder. This keeps everything clean even after a long period of use

I would also like to be able to play the youtube video in MyMemo.

I could not access MyMemo via the plugin and had to log in separately
