Q: If this deal is a lifetime offer but allows only a one-time use, what can we actually do with the lifetime access?
I'm baffled by why AppSumo is presenting such deals. If developers have the chance to test their products by offering a lifetime deal, they could gain valuable insights from user interactions to refine their offerings. However, giving lifetime access to an AI tool that replaces coding for just a one-time use seems counterintuitive—shouldn't that be the main selling point of the product? Typically, deals here involve a monthly token system, where additional usage comes at an extra cost. This deal feels more like buying a house at a great price but only being allowed to stay for a month.

Jul 12, 2025A: Hello Albert,
the CPU, memory and bandwidth are renewed every month indeed.
The AI-credits are consumption based.
You are allowed to stay as long as you want and always welcome in our house! Also rest assured you do not require AI-credits to build or run the applications. It is to help you swiftly boost your delivery and gain traction with your business users. Let AI do the heavy lifting, and stay fully in control.
It is thus not one time, the runtime and development resources are renewed!
greetings
Wim

It seems the Ai is the only part that says one time use. The other data seems to be a monthly reset. I would like to understand the “one time use” as well. perhaps when you use up the ai credits allotted for that tier, you would need to purchase more ai credits?

I want to clarify something important so nobody gets the wrong idea:
The lifetime access being offered here gives you access to the platform and visual editor forever — that part is true. But the actual functionality that allows someone with zero technical knowledge to build a working app (the logic, data schemas, and component generation) completely depends on the AI credits.
If you don’t know how to code or set up advanced logic yourself, once your AI credits run out, you’ll basically be left with a blank visual builder. Yes, you can design screens and buttons, but you won’t be able to make your app actually work without either buying more AI credits or manually coding the logic (which defeats the whole “no-code” promise).
What you claim is not the case: You can define logic/databases/screens all in a visual way.
No need to write code even without AI credits.
the idea is that rocket mode boosts the performance. it is also local assistance to modify.
We hope also to improve the user interface to debunk the learning curve even further.
So this should result in true no code. Also off course there is always a bit of analytical insight necessary for the creation manually.
Zero code knowledge or learning is AI supported the way.
So, this deal is very transparent and very true.
What would be your expectation otherwise? Promises for lifetime deals and then going out of business due to perpetual AI token burn?
We have been very thoroughly assessed by AppSumo and the deal aligned with the risk, which is a very balanced deal for sumolings.
We intend to keep the promises we make!
Thank you for your honesty.
