Q: Some questions before I buy

I’m really untested in your tool. It looks really flexible and could replace multiple apps I currently use. Here are some questions:

1. Text editor: In my test “blog posts” board, I have a rich text field “blog content” but it is really basic - I can’t even add headings and the text box is too small for my 700+ word articles. Are you planning to update it?
2 Connections: in my “meetings” board, I have a connection field to the “tasks” board. A meeting can have multiple tasks but a task can only belong to one meeting - yet I still have a “meetings” tab for every task. Is there a way to configure the other side of the boards connection?
3. Just a suggestion: my current tool has an embed view to add external tools like whiteboards or Google docs. I would like to see this here too

A: Hi! Thanks for your thoughtful questions — we love hearing how people are testing the limits of the platform. Here’s a quick breakdown:
1. Text Editor
You’re right — the current rich text field is simple by design, but we know it’s limiting for long-form content like blog posts. An upgraded editor is already in our plans and will roll out soon with support for headings, better layout, and a more comfortable writing experience.
2. Board Connections
To make a task belong to only one meeting (but a meeting to have many tasks), the best practice is to create the connection from the “Tasks” board, and uncheck “multiple selection”. That way, each task links to just one meeting — and in the Meetings board you’ll see a tab with multiple related tasks.
3. Embed View
Great idea! We’d love to learn more. Do you mean adding tools like Miro or Google Docs directly inside a view? Feel free to share what you’re using and how you imagine it working — we’re always listening.

Thanks again for exploring OneDeck!
