Q: Client Portal Integrated Chat!
Is the client portal integrated chat in your roadmap? If so, ETA? I read somewhere that you have @ mentions but they are generally task specific.

May 18, 2025A: Hi 👋 This is a very good question, chat is being discussed, but we're evaluating if it should have a place within the portal.
Is it tempting? Yes.
Would it be cool? Of course it would!
But there is two major things stopping the development of this right now.
First, making a good, feature-rich chat is complicated. It doesn't seems like it, but people expect a lot from this type of system! So it would take a lot of time and energy out of the other area of the portal.
Second, should it be really done? After two years working with a lot of agencies, most successful agencies are async and do not prioritize real-time collaboration.
Real-time collaboration means you're allocating more time to customers and makes you and your team less efficient (Also, customers would expect you to answer quick!)
Hence why the focus has been on a good async system, rather than a chat so far! Would love to get your view on that ;)
