I've seen several times mentioned that this can be used to track changes. Is that a manual check or is that automated through the API? If not can this feature be added?
A: Right now, PeekShot doesn’t automatically detect or highlight visual changes, but many agencies use our API to capture scheduled screenshots and then compare them manually using image diff tools or custom logic on their end.
But we agree it would be a powerful addition — especially for monitoring updates or spotting unexpected changes.

The HTML-to-image feature is definitely on our roadmap, and we know it’s a highly requested one — especially for use cases like turning emails into images. That said, our current focus this month is on bringing no-code integrations like Activepieces, so users can easily build workflows without writing code.
Once that’s in place, we’ll be turning our attention to...
Is there no way to add payment details as a back up for hitting the quota? I want to integrate it into a build, but don't want to risk a bad experience for the user just because my quota got hit.
We don’t have an exact ETA for the HTML-to-image feature just yet, but we’re aiming to pick it up right after our no-code integrations (like Activepieces and Zappier) go live — likely later this month or early next.
We’d love for you to add this feature request to our public roadmap here: https://peekshot.featurebase.app This way, you’ll get notified the moment it goes live!
Q: Issue with e-commerce multiple site. Access Denies or " Verify you are Human"
Nice idea. Can you tell me if/when you will be able to deal with sites that need to verify you are not a bot. I have issues with a number or domains that peekshot cant capture.
All are basic e-commerce sites. It could not grab any screenshost. I get a Cloudflare "Verifying you are human" page or Access Denied page.
A: Thanks for bringing this up — it’s a common issue when dealing with e-commerce sites protected by services like Cloudflare or bot detection systems.
PeekShot does provide a couple of ways to handle this:
- You can attach your own proxy to the API to help bypass bot checks.
- We also support custom headers, so if you own the website or have access, you can whitelist PeekShot's user-agent or...
We generated some test screenshots and I don't see a way to delete them. Does that mean once we hit our storage limit we will no longer be able to create any new screenshots, even if we don't care about keeping / storing the old ones? Most services we use like this only keep the data stored for a short period of time when using the API before deleting it.
A: Great question — and thank you for pointing this out!
Right now, PeekShot doesn’t offer a delete option in the dashboard, but we’re actively working on it. You’ll soon be able to manually delete screenshots and free up space whenever needed.
We’re also planning to roll out an auto-expiry feature for API-generated images to help manage storage automatically.
Ok thanks, yeah API generated images need to be auto deleted automatically as it doesn't make sense to generate images with API and then have to go in and manually delete them to be able to create more. We really like the product.
Yeah, that makes total sense — API screenshots should clean up automatically. We're already working on auto-expiry so you won’t have to deal with manual deletes.
Appreciate the support — glad you’re finding it useful!

Q: Update on HTML process + Credit expiry
I wanted to see if you were any closer to adding the HTML to image feature (like someone had mentioned, turning an email into an image).
I also wanted to know what happens if you go pass the API quota for a month?

Is there a rough ETA at all?

We don’t support automatic overages yet, but we know how important that is for smooth API usage.
We're working on:
1) Real-time email notifications when you're nearing your quota.
2) Backup payment support for optional top-ups.
Also, let us know roughly how many credits you expect to need monthly — it’ll help us prioritize early access and improvements.

Q: Can we stack more than 3 codes?
teampeekshot
Jun 15, 2025A: At the moment, we support stacking up to 3 codes only. We don’t offer more than that right now.
If we ever decide to increase the limit, we’ll be sure to update the deal details.
