Q: Problems with bald people...

Hi!

I'm bald, but It insists on creating my images with hair. Out of every 10 images, at least 6-7 show me with hair. And of the other 3-4, only one comes out well. This means that to get 1 good image, I have to generate a lot of images.

I have already tried insisting in the prompt with "bald man, no hair," but it keeps creating images with hair.

Is there anything that can be done to correct this?

A: Thanks for raising this — we understand how frustrating that experience can be, especially when you're aiming for something specific like a bald look.

Here’s how to get more consistent results, especially for appearance-based features:

✅ Step 1: Use consistent training images
The model is specifically optimized to map facial structure and identity with the highest accuracy. So, for features like baldness, it’s important that all uploaded images reflect the same visual — fully bald in this case. Even a slight inconsistency (e.g., stubble, lighting reflections, shadows) can lead to the model generating hair where you don’t want it.

✅ Step 2: Guide the look with the prompt
The rest of the appearance — including hairstyle, body type, outfit, setting — is controlled through presets or custom prompts. Since presets might generalize, we recommend overriding with a descriptive text prompt like:
“Confident bald man with a clean-shaven head, standing under natural light, wearing a fitted black t-shirt.”

This lets the model stay true to your facial identity while adopting the rest of the visual style you specify.

We're constantly working to reduce such inconsistencies and improve trait control. Let us know how this approach works for you — and happy to troubleshoot further if needed!

I have done both things. All my photos that I have uploaded are without hair. Even from the same day, all of them.

And as for the prompt, I have also done it without achieving the desired result.

Is it something you can manipulate from your side? Force the AI in the system not to add hair to bald people unless explicitly requested.

Thank you

Hi! Thanks for sharing the honest feedback. Could I request you to drop an email at support@photogptai.com - we can address your use case separately and provide if any custom solution that may work better.

Just so I'm clear: the app primarily trains on the face. So if I upload head-to-toe shots and my reference phots are of someone slightly overweight, I might not get similar body type, is that correct?

Yes, it's correct that the app primarily tries to train on the face but it does take some body features into account. And, once the model is trained and understands your face, you can always provide details about your body shape in the prompts.
