My Pinterest account was deactivated because of using Pin Generator

After using Pin Generator for about 6 weeks my account got deactivated by Pinterest. My max. scheduled pins were 10-12 pins/day, increasing slowly from 4-6 pins/day for more than 3 weeks. Before using Pin Generator I scheduled 3 manually created pins/day for more than 8 months. Below is a copy of the email I received from Pinterest:

Hi Taipan,

What may be the issue is that you are linking out to what could be considered “Dangerous goods". Namely the weight loss pill called Trimtone you are advertising.

Pinterest’s guidelines state that:

"Pinterest isn’t a place for trading or selling of certain regulated goods—products or substances that can cause harm when used, altered or manufactured irresponsibly—or for the display or encouragement of dangerous activities. We limit the distribution of or remove such content and accounts, including:"

- Content from or about unverified, unapproved or rogue online pharmacies

This is where I think they might be flagging you.

This is something that is automated by Pinterest and the system can get it wrong and suspend accounts in error.

If you are not in violation of any of Pinterest’s policies you can get your account turned on quickly via appeal:

Check Pinterest's community guidelines to make sure you're not breaking any rules.

Go to this page: https://help.pinterest.com/en/article/account-suspension and read the info there.

Then click the link that says “get in touch with us”. It will link you here: https://help.pinterest.com/en/contact?current_page=about_you_page&appeals=account_suspension
Complete the form and send it off to Pinterest.

They normally have an a account back up and running within 24 hours.

Remember to pin at a moderate pace, especially if your Pinterest account is brand new. I would recommend 5 pins per day to start moving up to 10 pins per day after about 10 days.

You can increase slowly from there.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, I know it can be stressful and annoying.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me.

Kind regards,
Ollie
