A: Hi! Pismo can actually do quite a lot more than DeepL - including improving writing and summarizing. If you want to translate a document while keeping the original format, you can achieve this by creating a custom prompt in Pismo for future use in your tasks.
Hi Pavel! Thanks for the explanation! To improve translation job under different circumstances (e.g. Law, Chemistry), could you allow users to upload their own glossary?
Regarding BYOK, besides openrouter, could you make it more customisable, e.g. API Host?
Q: Hi, Issue already
Hi, I got everything all set up and initially it was working. This was yesterday. But today Pizmo won't open. Im sure it's something with my computer since it was popping up just fine yesterday. When I go to the sign in /account page , it is still showing " download the app" does this mean somehow it didn't finish the process internally? And Pizmo still thinks I have to go through the rest of the process? Should I uninstall and re-install? What should I do? Thank you !
HI, Our main use will be cleaning up what we write. We already have a dictation app that captured what we say and scripts it. We then would like to insert it here, not to rewrite it or change it per se, but to grammatically correct and structure it into a clear document.
A: Hi! Pismo can be used for a wide variety of text-related tasks. In your case you can set up a custom prompt that will grammatically correct and structure the data you input. So yes, Pismo can be used for this - and much more!
Although, it is stated that there is virtually no limit to what we can do with texts, using Pismo, first and foremost we need to know the exact limits for text processing per request. - Which is the the max input and out length in number of words ? - Which is the context window limit in tokens ?
Otherwise, we cannot know for sure if this solution is able to handle long and comprehensive text input/output. By experience, some rewrite solutions give partial/incomplete answers because of such limits and working in parts is not ideal because of lack of context memory and efficiency.
A: Hey! For Pismo Tier 1 users, there is a monthly request limit of 5000. Tier 2 users don't have this limitation.
Pismo operates using the GPT-4.1-nano LLM, but we have recently added the BYOK feature through OpenRouter, which lets you use different models. This being said - the max input limit is hard to specify, as it's based on the complexity of the texts and the performance of the model.
Thanks for your fast reply. It would be useful to know the approx. limit of the context window.
Unfortunately last upgrade is opting for GPT-4.1-nano instead GPT-4.1-mini (when previous was 4o-mini). Although nano is relatively faster (~ milliseconds) than mini, all benchmarks point out that 4.1-mini is smarter and more suited to handle autocomplete, translation, context-rich and nuanced prompts.
Q: How do i access the iOS app?
How do i access the iOS app? What's the name of it on the app store? Tried searching it but nothing.
A: Hi! If you already have an account on our website (pismo.ai), simply log in and look for the "Download app" button. Clicking it will provide links to all available versions of the app.
After clicking the link, you'll be prompted to install TestFlight (if you haven't already), and then you can download the iOS version of Pismo
Q: Can PISMO be a relacement for DeepL?
Can PISMO translate the document like DeepL while keeping the original format?

Can this be used for that?
Thank you!
