'Customers are all about PlayZo, praising its versatility, ease of use, and exceptional customer support. There are a few hiccups like limited game templates and tier-based feature access, just small bumps on the road. Weighing the raves against the occasional grumbles, PlayZo is hitting the mark and is a solid buy for those in need of a powerful gamification platform. With an overall rating of 4.5 and 39 total reviews, it's worth giving it a try, especially with the 60-day money-back guarantee.'

100 Tacos

The amount of creative customization is absolutely incredible! You can customize several game screens, game mechanics, backgrounds and items, and music/sound effects! It's been a game changer for my business and so fun to experiment and build entertain games for mobile and desktop.

Additionally, HUGE shout-out to the support and development team. I found a bug or two after I purchased, and they were very responsive and speedy in fixing it. Cannot recommend this product enough. If you are reading this, stop considering investing in Playzo and just buy it! You WILL NOT be disappointed. I have not found a better software that can build and host embeddable games like this.

5 Tacos!

I am thoroughly impressed with the support team; they’re incredibly fast and helpful! I recently encountered an issue with iframes that made my CTA screen ineffective, but the support team listened to my concerns and resolved it almost instantly.

And new games have been added since I purchased.

So far, I've created around 20 games, including wordles, drag-and-drop puzzles, quizzes, word group connections, and memory games. My boss at work even enjoys playing my wordles, which is a fun bonus!

I’ve also developed a series of story-based games where one game leads into another, keeping players engaged. However, I’ve encountered some limitations with the leaderboard feature. To use leaderboards, you have to implement a lead collection screen, which isn't ideal for my content-focused site. I wanted my visitors to enjoy the games without being interrupted by lead collection forms.

The challenge with the lead collection screen is that while you can adjust your game screen order, you can't place it last. Players are required to submit their info to reach the end screen, which is acceptable for client-focused games but doesn't work well for a site aimed at providing games for visitors to enjoy. My hope was to encourage repeat traffic by inviting players to return for better scores, but once they fill out the lead collection, they can’t play that game again from what i see either.

Additionally, I’m not familiar with webhooks, so can not test, but do use the subdomains, which works well. Creating the games is straightforward, but getting the most of it requires some technical know-how,

The most time needed is for creating game graphics and reducing graphic sizes to ensure smooth gameplay, as well as brainstorming content ideas for questions etc and visuals for various game types.

I plan on creating true/false games using the poll/survey games and “action” types like the ninja slicer in the near future, even if I can’t use leaderboards for now. thinking of how to blend it with my subreddit to give flairs as prizes somehow or something. We'll see

Personality quizzes would also be a fantastic addition, as they resonate well with my target audience.

Can we disable the timer completely? I’ve noticed even when I disable disable show timer, the countdown still runs. It would be better if I could completely disable the timer, especially for my audience that might prefer a more relaxed gaming experience.

atm i work around that by not showing the timer and set the game controls
Time Per Game: maxed to 300 seconds

but i would prefer to disable it completely

I have dreams of creating games for clients someday, which was my original goal, and I hope to see continued improvements in the platform, especially with features like personality games.

and Anurag...
Lastly, I want ask about the Campaign Name in the game profile—is it just for my reference, or does it display somewhere? As of now, I’m using it solely for my informational purposes.

To help keep track and make notes of tips and tricks etc, I created a Discord server Feel free to join if any fellow plazo game creators are interested! https://discord.gg/rg9DdeZFRg

I opted for the annual plan in hopes of seeing continuous improvements and to capitalize on the great deal while enjoying the platform. I’m really loving the experience so far!

Please don’t go away! 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮

Hi Chris,

Thanks a lot for such amazing & detailed review. Let me address some points

Leaderboard with Lead Form
The purpose of the leaderboard is to show users their scores alongside others, encouraging them to try again and climb the ranks. To make this meaningful, we need to display the user's name on the leaderboard. That’s where the lead form comes in – it collects the name so the user can...

I should have grabbed a higher tier... sigh This app is awesome—and so are YOU!

I’m kicking myself for not getting the highest tier when I had the chance. Playzo makes it ridiculously fun and easy to build actual games around your ideas, brand, or message. The interface is intuitive, the results are engaging, and the support team? Stellar.

If you’re even thinking about gamifying your content—this is the one.

GET. THE. HIGHEST. TIER.

Playzo definitely deserves 5 tacos! 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮

It’s one of the most engaging and creative platforms I’ve found on AppSumo. The games are fun, visually appealing, and perfect for marketing and community interaction.

What really sets Playzo apart is the amazing team behind it – incredibly helpful, responsive, and open to feedback. I had some questions and suggestions, and they responded quickly and even sent video walkthroughs.

If you’re looking for an interactive way to engage your audience or generate leads in a unique and playful way, Playzo is a fantastic tool.
Highly recommended – 5 tacos well earned!

Great platform

I have really enjoyed putting together some games for our young people to engage with. They have been addicted, trying to reach #1 on the leaderboard! It's very easy to customize the games and also use CNAME options. The UI is really nice and simple but with some great custom options. I plan to use some of the templates for my business marketing too. Overall PlayZo is really great value!!
