Q: Honoring deal terms and conditions
I'm interested in your AppSumo deal but noticed a concerning discrepancy. The terms state: "Lifetime access to Press Ranger. All future Pro (Tier 1) or Pro+ (Tiers 2-10) Plan updates." Yet real-time pitch notifications—available on both Pro and Pro+ plans on your website—aren't included in lower AppSumo tiers.
When previously questioned, you responded it's "hard to include in every tier," which directly contradicts the deal terms promising all Pro/Pro+ updates to all tiers.
This raises serious questions about your commitment to AppSumo customers:
1. Why aren't real-time notifications available on all tiers when the deal terms explicitly promise all Pro/Pro+ features?
2. How will you honor these terms for future updates?
3. What assurance can you provide that AppSumo customers won't be treated as second-class users?

Good question. To give some context- this is our 3rd AppSumo campaign and we added Tiers 3-10 during the second one. During this campaign, we added new features to *all* tiers- not just the higher tier plans. There are too many features included in *all* tiers to properly list them all and this grows each week.
Some of the new features are only available on higher tiers. Per the text "All future Pro (Tier 1) or Pro+ (Tiers 2-10) Plan updates", it'd be impossible to map *all* features to Tiers 2-10 or else there couldn't be Tiers 2-10 as they'd all be identical. As we have two public subscription options and 10 AppSumo tiers, there has to be some gradation on the tier system. I see how that fine print could be confusing but the tiers are so different (and in many cases more powerful) than the subscription plans. I'm going to suggest AppSumo change that text to be more clear though as I do see the ambiguity that you're calling out.
To call out some key differences of the AppSumo plans vs public subscription plans, *all* of the AppSumo tiers include *more* exports and *more* generous company and user allowances than the paid plans. We're doing this because we want the AppSumo community to become lifelong Press Ranger users and to continue to provide us with amazing feedback.
As our reviews and community suggest, we're in this thing for the long haul. I understand many AppSumo users have had bad experiences with other companies but it seems like it would be pretty clear from everything written about Press Ranger that we're doing things differently. At the end of the day this is all built on trust and reputation and it wouldn't be worth ruining either of those things for money.
