Great Concept, But a Bit of a Letdown

I came across Props on AppSumo and thought, “Okay, this looks solid.” Seemed like a promising tool, so I went ahead and grabbed the Tier 2 deal.

The setup was smooth, and everything worked fine out of the box. Felt like it could be a nice addition to my agency’s outreach workflow. After the deal closed, I reached out to support to see if I could upgrade within the LTD. They said it wasn’t possible anymore, and I’d have to switch to a monthly plan. Fair enough—they explained it clearly and were quick to respond, so no complaints there.

A week or so in, I realized I wasn’t really getting replies. So I checked their documentation, and honestly, it was pretty detailed. Turns out, I’d missed some important stuff like how to use AI variables, voice cloning, and so on. That was on me. I made the changes and gave the voice cloning feature a shot. It worked, but it definitely needs improvement. The audio still sounds a bit robotic and doesn’t really match my voice much. Functional, but not polished.

After fixing my setup and using personalization with AI, I felt like I was finally using the tool properly. I had three LinkedIn accounts connected, followed all the usage guidelines strictly—10-15 connections a day, 20-30 messages, no InMails, only weekdays. Still, all three accounts got restricted.

That part was frustrating. Even my personal account, which is over three years old and has 4,000+ followers, got hit. LinkedIn’s asking for verification, but when I try, it says I’ve already done it and can’t do it again. Now I’m basically locked out with no way to reach LinkedIn support.

So now I’m stuck. The tool itself is smart and the idea is great, but the account restrictions threw everything off. I don’t know if it’s a LinkedIn thing or something on Props’ side, but either way, it’s a tough spot to be in when you’re relying on this for client work.

Would I recommend Props? Maybe—but only with caution. If you're planning to use it, start slow, test with secondary accounts, and read the docs carefully. There’s potential here, but for now, I’ve had to pause everything until I figure out how to get my accounts back.
