Q: CNAME question
I have 4 different brands and if I get the one with 5 affiliate programs, do I then have option of 4 CNAMES?

Each affiliate program is it's own thing, each one is expected to be used for a different brand. If you get the one that comes with 5 affiliate programs, yes you will get 5 different CNames, one for each affiliate program.
