Q: Free Trial
Just so you know, I saw the new AppSumo listing and decided to get started for free. I signed up but couldn’t try the platform, so I won’t be purchasing it. I think it would be a good idea to offer some credits to new subscribers for trial purposes. Many similar platforms on AppSumo already provide this, and before buying, I want the opportunity to try it out. I won’t buy from AppSumo and request a refund just for the sake of it—this is simply advice. I could have been a potential customer, but unfortunately, I’m not.

We did offer a free trial a couple of months back, but since then, we’ve grown to over 200K users on the platform. Unfortunately, some users abused the system by creating multiple temporary emails to access repeated trials, so we decided it was best to remove the free trial entirely.
That said, we don’t believe in watermarking your videos or restricting downloads — you always get the full experience.
We offer demo projects so you can see exactly what you’ll get from the product. Most users understand the value from these demos alone. You can check out examples of AI Clip and Text to Video in action.

An easy solution is request credit card during free trial and don't allow the same card for trial account.
info3827PLUSIm afraid I agree with the original poster. Not a chance I would buy without some initial test. I just wasted time going to your website and signing up after clicking the big 'Get Started Free' button on your homepage, then uploaded a short video only to find zero credits when I attempted a test!! Very poor. At the very least take the misleading 'Get Started Free' off your homepage.

In the founder post, you referred to an API; what are the limitations of each tier?

The main limit for API is the concurrency, that is 7 and 20 concurrent requests.
In the workspace, you can add Admins and members.
You can access each API project on the dashboard.
If you connect your CRM, you'll get callbacks on your webhook once projects are done, saving you tons of time.

@info3827 I concur with you and the original poster, but I have a suggestion for founders to avoid system abuse, as I have encountered similar issues in the past. By modifying the registration process to ask for a credit card during the trial period, I eliminated all forms of abuse completely :)

If Im asked for cc info, I immediately leave. lf you watermark the vids, there's really no need to create multiple trials unless a user feels the trial isn't sufficient and needs anothe to test different types of content. I'd figure out a way to bring that back.
GlobalDigitalMediaWatermarking the videos bang in the centre of the video will eliminate all of your problems and you will see a massive uptake of the product..People dont want hustles nowadays when so many things are easy to register for. Try it, it will work.. and save you from explanations
