Q: Clip Length
I often break my long form podcast into 5-10 minute clips. Is there a function to be able to adjust the length of clips it pulls?

Apr 11, 2025A: Yes! When you upload your podcast or paste a YouTube link, Reap will ask you to choose the clip length you want. So if you’re looking to break your podcast into 3 minute clips, you’ll be able to set that duration yourself before the AI starts pulling highlights. We are working to offer even longer clips, say 5 or 10 minutes.

Let me clarify, Yes, you can currently set the clip length before the AI starts pulling highlights. So if you want 3-minute clips, you can choose that upfront.
However, the ability to generate 5–10 minute clips is still being improved. Right now, the system is optimized for shorter clips, but we’re actively working to support longer durations like 5 or 10 minutes. That feature is coming soon!
You can always manually adjust clip length at the moment. So you get clips for 3 minutes and then add subtract segments in editor as per need.
