Q: Login asking for code, but only sending Link to OTP form asking again for the code
Hello Usama,
the first sign up process with reap two week ago was flawless. The code went into the inbox and I was able to login.
I was working with reap today, great transcription and great content analysis, and saving after editing was much faster than before.
The reap website, on firefox, suddenly seemed to hang, the fans of the computer were starting to work hard and so I tried to reload the page without effect.
Only when I closed all the reap tabs the fans throttled. I know this cloud based behavior from the earlier days of Vimeo and Canva, so this for certain will mature with time.
I tried to log in again and the system is sending the Link to the OTP form instead of the access code. Also that email is going to the spam folder.
Are you aware of any bug with OTP at present?
Thank you again for this great product
Best regards

Apr 23, 2025A: Hi Marco,
Thanks so much for your thoughtful message and for the kind words about Reap — we really appreciate it!
Apologies for the inconvenience you experienced. We recently discovered that our email provider was suppressing some email addresses, which affected OTP delivery. We've since resolved the issue, and all OTP emails should now be going out correctly. Could you please try logging in again and let us know if the issue persists?
Also, thank you for the detailed feedback about the Firefox performance. We're currently optimizing reap for Chrome and Safari, but we’ve made it a priority to improve performance on Firefox, Brave, and Sidekick as well, in this and next week. Will keep you posted on the progress.
Let us know if you run into any more issues — we're here to help!
