Q: Questions before buying
Hi there, I wanted to check if you consider that Reap has all the same benefits of Camtasia. I sometimes need long form video editing and I wan to to be able to do so. I also would like dubbing in other languages without all the manual effort involved. Ideally preserving the original voices tone and artifacts to maintain originality, is this supported? Does your tool works only online or also offline? Thank you

reap is built for fast, AI-powered editing—especially for short-form content—but we are actively expanding into long-form workflows. Full timeline editing is in development and should be available later this year.
For dubbing, yes—reap supports multilingual voiceovers with AI. It preserves tone and vocal nuances using voice cloning, so the dubbed version sounds natural and close to the original speaker. This helps maintain the authenticity of your content.
Currently, reap works online only. We’re focused on cloud processing to ensure fast updates and AI improvements, but we’re exploring offline functionality for the future with desktop/mobile apps.
