Graphics tool with GDPR

A European provider in this market segment is quite astonishing - many users (in Europe) are still ignoring the challenges of the GDPR and EU AI Act when it comes to the use of AI. So having a provider here that is familiar with the specifics of the market is a value in itself.
The functions are solid, some points could be solved better (download as bulk and automatic assignment of names, e.g. in the form of my-product-image-001 and then incremented), but all details. What we are currently still wavering on, whether to keep or return, is the team functionality: currently is unclear. We don't need a huge solution, but for a team of three it's important to know whether we need to buy three Tier 3 or whether one Tier 4 is enough.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback, it's very much appreciated.

You're absolutely right: being a European provider committed to GDPR and the upcoming EU AI Act is something we take seriously, and we're glad that resonates with you.

Regarding your questions:
Bulk download, you are not the only one to say it so probably on our roadmap and should improve soon. Regarding the naming...

3.8 stars realistically but rounding to four since you can't do partial star (Detailed Explanation)

After spending more time with seelabs platform, my initial impression has changed. I originally rated it five stars, but after extended use, I would realistically give it 3.8 stars. Since partial star ratings aren’t possible, I’m rounding up to four stars.

Observations
Partial Positives:

The Clean feature in Seelabs works reliably and is the only function where I didn’t encounter issues. It’s similar to inpainting and is effective for quickly removing objects from images.

Seelabs offers a well-organized model categorization.

The layout is generally good, though there are areas for improvement (detailed below).

It’s possible to generate attractive images including text on images, but the results aren’t always consistent is the main issue. Which makes it take more time compared to some models (review further down for more details)

Areas for Improvement:

1. If you generate an image and later click on it, there’s no way to view which model or prompt was used, making it difficult to track your workflow if you forget those details.

2. The Replace feature, which lets you paint over a section and describe what you want changed, is very finicky. Competing platforms like SellerPic and Qolaba offer the Flux Kontext model, which handles replace and clean tasks more efficiently through a single prompt. Seelabs has cited privacy and API concerns for not implementing Flux Kontext, but this feels more like a cost issue, especially since most competitors now offer it. For a premium-priced product, these limitations are disappointing.

3. Image consistency is lacking, with issues like morphing hands. The models used are somewhat outdated compared to the latest Flux Pro Ultra models found on other platforms. Seelabs also lacks negative prompting, which contributes to these inconsistencies. Seelabs has also cited the same thing that they won't implement Flux Pro Ultra because of privacy and API concerns, again this feels more like a cost issue they don't want to pay access to, especially since most competitors now offer it.

4. The creative upscaler was initially exciting but ultimately disappointing. It often distorts faces and introduces artifacts. Additionally, usage is restricted even on the highest tier, which undermines the purpose of a credit-based system. Unlike SellerPic, where credits can be freely applied to any feature (including video and lipsync), Seelabs restricts credits and limits access to certain features, making the platform feel less flexible and less valuable.

5. Seelabs does have a video feature, but you cannot use your regular credits for video generation; you have to purchase separate video credit packs at an additional cost—even for lifetime or highest-tier users. This is a significant limitation, especially when compared to SellerPic, which allows you to use your credits towards both images and videos. SellerPic’s video model is on par with Kling 1.6, making it possible to create high-quality videos using the same credits you use for images. This flexibility is a major advantage, especially since SellerPic’s top lifetime deal provides better value overall.

6. The consistent model feature is limited compared to platforms like PhotoGPT, both in terms of flexibility on monthly models because you are fixed with seelabs and u basically have to delete a model where as photogpt, allow you to do more models each month. The increasing number of restrictions and outdated models make Seelabs less appealing, especially when compared to other platforms offering better value and lifetime deals.

7. The credit counter is buried in the settings rather than displayed on the main page. This is a basic usability issue—other platforms like SellerPic display credits prominently for user convenience.

8. Since seelabs doesn't have an API function, i would like to see a feature added where you can enter multiple prompts to do a batch of different images. It already can do four images for the same prompt but im not talking about that. What im talking about is if i have 30 different prompts for different image scenes being able to upload a csv file and it produces the images in batch off each of those prompts or adding a batch category where u can enter each prompt and hit generate and it will do images for each speeding up workflow. It's kinda pointless to have a large credit tier if u don't have a batch function for multiple prompts.

Hi there thanks for this detailed review, your feedbacks help us to improve our product! Let me answer on a few points:
1/ We do have some information about the prompt and model used, you can even click on it so it selects automatically the right model. It's available both in the creation feed and on the detailed view after you click on an image. Can't publish an image here but ping us in the in...

Creative powerhouse

Seelab offers impressive image quality and easy-to-use editing tools, making it a solid choice for creatives. The credit system is clear and fair, which is a big plus. However, credits can’t be used for video creation, which limits its versatility compared to some other platforms.

Also, having to delete custom models to create new ones each month feels a bit restrictive—PhotoGPT’s approach of letting you keep old models while adding new ones seems more user-friendly.

Overall, Seelab is great for images but could improve flexibility around custom models and video use.

Great tool, but...

Pro:

The quality of the images is very good.
The editing of the images is okay.
The calculation of credits is "top"!

Cons:

Unfortunately, the credits cannot be used for videos (like with Sellerpic).

I find the calculation of the custom models from PhotoGPT much better. I understand that creating them is time-consuming. BUT why do I have to delete these "expensive" models just to create a different one next month? With PhotoGPT, I get "only" a handful of models per month. But in the following month, I can create new models for myself. My old ones remain saved.
