not thrilled with this partial solution, went to MailPoet
Here's what I'd suggest to Appsumo for an email product:
1) You make visual HTML creation and editing better, then you make it a standard feature in SendFox, not a monthly fee add-on.
2) Then you integrate your HTML template library into SendFox.
I bought SendFox not realizing how limiting it was to have a text editor only. Because I didn't like it, I then stacked MailPoet to the moon when it was available. So I'm highly invested in using MailPoet, despite its limitations. I'm not thrilled with MailPoet either, but it's got more features. If Appsumo wanted to, you could eat their lunch though.
