Amazing product has saved me a lot of money
In my experience the openrates on Sendfox has been better than encharge for my newsletter. It's a great product for weekly newsletters and just staying in touch. If that's your usecase you can save a lot of money compared to other tools.
The one thing I didn't like was if a user opts out and tries to opt back in on the website they can't. They'll be auto flagged as already unsubscribed. Brought this up with Sendfox and they say that's a <1% use-case and may lead to spam/abuse using their tool (plausible). Still, I would like people that have shown interest and wanted to get back on the mailing list to be able to. I think they may be small use-case but I can't imagine turning away potential customers/clients.

May 9, 2024Wow! Thanks so much, Interclick.
You're awesome.
With Mailchimp, ConvertKit, and other ESPs increasing their prices DRAMATICALLY... SendFox now costs about half as much for *life* as these other tools cost at a similar level for a single *month*.
And, as far as I can see, we're the only ESP at our level that gives you access to "High" ranking IPs and domain reputation to increase your deliverability. For reference, Mailchimp at $100+ per month still usually puts you on "Medium" IPs. Yuck.
As for your suggestion... this is a good one. There are regulations at play that make subscribing people surprisingly more challenging than you'd think (CAN-SPAM, etc.) as bad apples could just constantly resubscribe people, and it would damage our sender reputation. So we have safety checks in place.
But you're right, there's likely a way we can improve that. Thanks for the idea.
