Q: The tool looks great.

Do I need to add my own proxies for the tool to run all the scrapping tasks? Thanks

A: Proxies used for search engine scraping only. ie Google. They are not recommended unless you have expensive exclusively private residential proxies.

Thanks for your response.
Just for clarification, if I want to scrap articles daily from Google news for my news website, I would need to buy these expensive proxies? And if I don't, what risks do I run?

I remember using proxies a while back when I was using GSA.
My primary reason of buying this tool is to

1) Scrap URL's of my competitors and the content on it.
2) Scrap daily news articles on Google posted in my category.

Would I need to grab proxies for my use-case? And if yes, which ones do you recommend?

Also, which tier do you suggest I go with?

Thanks in advance for answering all my questions.

The only risk is Google stops serving results to you for 1 hour or so, before that you will get captcha solve requests though.

Google is good at blocking proxies, so they aren't always the first and easiest solution.

eg If you are making more than 6 google requests a minute expect to be rate limited very quickly.

I would keep my Google searches spread out over the day if you have the time. You can select long timeouts between Google searches to avoid captchas and being blocked by Google.

You won't need proxies for this normally.

>> 2) Scrap daily news articles on Google posted in my category.
Run without proxies first and consider captcha breaking and VPNs as well.

>> Would I need to grab proxies for my use-case? And if yes, which ones do you recommend?
I think not required. Run your tasks first, then seek out alternatives as proxies are expensive.
Eg, SCM will change search engines for you as well from Google > Bing > duckduckgo if you start getting Google bans.

>>Also, which tier do you suggest I go with?
Tier 1 is fine. If you need more AI credits I suggest you create a free openai account.
