Q: Does it works with Squirrly?

We haven't tested the compatibility of SEO Generator with Squirrly SEO, yet. But it is on our to do list.
We did however test RankMath and Yoast.
The RankMath content analysis does work with SEO Generator pages. The title and meta description tags are also replaced correctly. But the open graph and schema tags are disabled for SEO Generator pages (for now).
In Yoast the page title and meta description are supported, the content analysis works for the most part too.

Our guess would be that Squirrly already adds a canonical tag to every page.
The easiest way to determine this is to visit a page that you've created with SEO Generator and check the source code (F12 in Google Chrome). You can search for 'canonical' in the code.
The canonical URL should be set to the page's own URL.
If there is no canonical tag, you can switch on the canonical setting in SEO Generator.
