Q: Connector to Monday.com or other task management tools?
Hi, so far this looks promising. It seems similar to Marker.io. Great job. I'm actually trying to find tools to help us collect feedback from clients. We are using screen grabs and google docs.
Do the comments connect to task/ticket management tools like Monday.com, Click up, Trello, or Jira?
Would be useful to add those so we can prioritize the feedback, assign tickets and track hours.
Connection to 3rd party apps is planned, but not it the works. I'd say we'll start working on this in a month or so. It has been requested by many already, and I see it being very useful. We are currently making the product itself rock solid, and then adding those implementations.
The tool looks very promising, great work! I do have an important question before proceeding:
Is it possible to connect multiple domains to the platform and receive separate feedback for each domain? Ideally, I’d like to use it in a white-label format, so I can apply different styling per domain and resell it individually to clients.
Is this something the platform supports, or would support in the near future?
1. Can clients receive feedback directly, like via email or (in time) in their environment? 2. Is it possible to add multiple users with roles per domain (e.g. admin, viewer)? 3. UX: a visual cursor change in comment mode, would make the mode clearer.
I really love the tool so far, looking forward to what's coming!
Q: AI
Are you thinking about adding AI to your solution in the future, e.g. by adding the ability to connect your own Open AI API code❓ . This would speed up the comment response process without the need to be glued to other AI tools.
A: What use case do you have in mind? Having the option to fix grammar or polish comments? Other than that, I don't see much use for AI in this case, and it's a "nice to have" feature.
Could this replace standard Wordpress comments❓ . For example, something like Disqus. . To make this an aggregator of all the comments on my various blogs.
A: Absolutely, I have the tool enabled on my site for general use and visitors leave very good feedback. They can pinpoint exactly the spot in the page or text. It has been super useful for that.
However, I think the tool's use might not be immediately obvious for general commenting, so I will focus on "Client feedback for freelancers and agencies" for now. Once this is fully optimized, I'll look...
A blog comment would then always have to be embedded below the article.
Q: Comment on specific pages?
A lot of my small projects I'm working on live sites so I can't have Simple Commentor appearing on all pages. Is it possible to enable feedback on specific pages only?
A: Just yesterday, an option was implemented that only enables simple commenters if the "?simple-commneter=true" params have been added to the URL.
If you need the tool only for specific pages, you can insert. yourdomain.com/slug. In which case the tool is active only on that page and pages which follow that.

Whitelabel has not been implemented yet, but is planned.
