Q: How will you continue supporting Appsumo customers indefinite?

Storing data and transfering data has ongoing costs, I have seen some companies like pCloud continue to grow for years - honoring their prepaid customers for years and years.

As I saw in another comment, users are getting around 5mB/s outside of Asia for speeds and you had mentioned the options were to sign up as a new account or pay a fee to get faster EU or US based servers down the road?

If we prepay hundreds of dollars today compared to paying $9/mo to Google for a couple TB of data, that would be 4+ years of gdrive to even break even.

My question is what's the plan to stay in business and how committed are you to prepaid customers? If you rename your plans or we want the faster US servers, will get the new plan features as you add them while keeping our prepaid account?

A: Totally fair questions – these are super important for any AppSumo LTD, especially for services like ours with ongoing costs. We get it!

Here's the deal: We see our AppSumo customers as an ongoing marketing investment, not just a one-off sale. You guys are our core community, giving us crucial feedback that helps us grow. It's a win-win, and we're committed to honoring those accounts indefinitely – just like pCloud does! We don't spend on Google Ads, nor facebook ads, we spend our time and money here and other offerings.

Now, about comparing us to Google Drive – that's a bit like apples and oranges! We're definitely not trying to replace GDrive. Sinosend is a more niche tool designed specifically for getting your documents reliably to your vendors, partners, or peers overseas. GDrive, Dropbox for example, can often throttle or stall big downloads, and it's actually blocked for over a billion people globally (just like WeTransfer is in many countries). Our goal is to solve that specific problem: ensuring your files reach their destination, even if the download speed is sometimes a bit slower, they will get there.

About speeds and regions: Nope, you definitely won't need to pay extra for faster US/EU servers or future features. That's a misunderstanding somewhere! As long as Sinosend is on AS, all AppSumo customers get to ride the wave with any improvements we make, including new regions; We won't be cheeky to rename plans as well. Your plan evolves with us; in fact, our LTD tiers often pack in more than our regular plans! We offer up to T8 here, but on our website we only go up to T3. We've now been on AS almost for a year now, and I think our reviews say it all, the good and the bad.

We're soon launching a referral program soon. We're really hoping our awesome LTD users will help us spread the word and bring in new monthly users.

We're in this for the long haul, and we're stoked to have you with us! Stay tuned for our Product Hunt launch too! -- Hope I was able to answer your Qs thoroughly, -- let me know if you have any ideas.

P.S. To your point about the fee, my guess is that you found that comment here:

"1) starting fresh with a new account, or 2) migrating your data for a small fee. "

- The update is, you wont need to start fresh with a new account.
- We wont offer the choice to migrate data, hence no data migration fee.
- Existing users can SWITCH regions for new transfers and requests, existing data will remain
