Good, but could be better

Update: The founder provided the necessary changes with some promised future updates and changed my review to 5🌮. Thanks Rishi!

Let me start by saying it's working good, but I'll detail below the things that can improve:

- For Tier 3 "Toggle all branding off" - the "Sinosend" name is all over the place even after turning this setting off. Emails subject is "via Sinosend" at the end.

- Emails are branded with Sinosend logo, support@sinosend.com email, and their footer: "Sinosend is a secure file transfer service. A better way to attach © 2022 Sinosend" - really dissapointed in this.

- The email address that sends the emails to clients is "support@sinosend.com" -> we should get a personal email option.

- The UI/UX need a total overhaul. Seems like it's stuck into 2010s.

- The CNAME feature is strange that you can't set-up in the app and need to email the founder. Still waiting for their reply to set up my CNAME.

- The lag when you open a transfer link for 4-5 seconds needs to be addressed ASAP.

- It says that I use 55KB of 1TB, but no file is present. Strange.

I would like to see a way to customise the emails, transfer/request pages and change it's language. Unless a more modern look and more personalized experience I think there's no real differentiator between this and other solutions like GDrive or others..

Update [09/Oct/24]

* Email branding to your "recipients" are now all off for Pro/Business customers. Soon we will add your logo to the header of the emails. For Business Customers we will be adding authenticated domains which means the email will be sent from you@yourcompany.com -- coming soon :)

*CNAME automation is mostly completed, we will miss getting those emails though!

We’re glad to hear that you find our service works well. Ensuring reliable document transfers worldwide, including in regions like China and India where other services are often blocked/fail is a priority for us.

Regarding the custom domain name, we sent instructions around 7:30 ET (about three hours ago and I think within a few hours after the signup). We hope you've received them. We recognize the need to automate this process and are actively working on it, especially as we plan to offer multiple CNAME options for Business accounts.

For the branding issue, we remove our branding from the download portal that your clients see. Emails are sent from our servers to ensure high deliverability to bypass spam filters. They appear as coming from "Your Name via Sinosend," with your email in the reply-to field. We’ll explore ways to remove our name from this process, as transparency was our main goal.

We acknowledge the 4-5 second delay with the transfer link and will investigate this further.

The 55KB usage without files in the account is also under review.
