On June 11th, 2025, they sent a "last chance" email announcing they were leaving AppSumo for the "foreseeable future."

Just six weeks later, on July 21st, they are back on AppSumo.

This isn't a change of plans; it's a deceptive marketing ploy. While the tool itself may be fine, this dishonest approach completely undermines any trust in the company. Potential buyers should be aware of these manipulative tactics.

As an SEO I have plenty of software subsriptions. But I thought what the heck, I try SiteGuru. I have to say, I am very pleased. The UX is incredible. It is so easy to navigate and the information it provides is excellent. No, it doesn't have search volume per keyword, it doesn't have a way to track competitors, there is no way to do keyword research... in fact, I really didn't expect that much out of this. But what I found was a dashboard that is so well organized and easy to navigate that it makes finding "actionable" SEO a breeze. Within 10 minutes I found a page that had two H1 headers, a few pages that were missing their meta description and an easy to fix indexing issues. I have SERanking and SEMRush, I am sure that they also spotted all these issue, but they also have complex and confusing dashboard and menus. I can never find a thing in them. I never would have discovered half the issue that SiteGuru pointed out in SERanking or SEMRush.
Granted, SiteGuru is not "robust", it is not advance SEO, but it is so easy to use and the information is so easy to find that is makes finding what needs to be fixed easy and fast. Highly recommend.

This is so good for small business owners to understand their website. It has simple and clear layouts. When I have had a question or something that doesn't look right, they have gotten back to me with fantastic support as well.

SiteGuru has been instrumental to me, a novice sitebuilder, in helping me modify my sites to climb up the SEO ranks. It provides actionable, understandable steps to take to improve my websites. I check in with it at least weekly, and it's made a huge difference in my sites' rankings. Absolutely purchase this software.
