Q: Hi, I'm interested in the decentralised version using an android phone with sim card sitting in a server room.
We run an Airbnb management business and use Maxotel for our IVR, calls and sms currently. The sms gateway is through them and staff send and receive smses through email or their website which isn't ideal. The maxotel voice quality is very high though, higher than Twilio. We send guests text messages when they confirm the booking, to remind them of checking out etc. The guests reply to these smses and call us back on the number we text them from. The challenge is that guests use multiple channels to contact us - whatsapp, phone calls, text etc and we have multiple staff in different locations that would respond. Most of our staff have PCs and iPhones.
Question 1.
Textmagic has a very user friendly iOS. Any staff in any location can load this app, see the entire thread with each customer's number and send a message. If a new message comes in all staff will receive a push notification. It feels very similar as if their phone was the phone sending and receiving messages. Do you have an iOS app similar to this?
Question 2.
The guests call us back on the number we text them from. If this SIM is in an android phone in our server room, how do we route these calls to our agents? We currently have a main landline number and all the staff use iOS SIP clients to connect to maxotel.
Question 3.
We have more customers all the time, can I use a webhook to push new customer names and phone numbers into the iOS so that it will identify the customer's names when they call?
Question 4.
Ideally we would like your app to be both an sms and voice endpoint for both sms and calls (for example a sip client that will connect to the android phone to make and receive calls). Is the eventual idea?
Question 5.
Is there a CRM in your software/websites? For example being able to note the status of a sales process related with a customer, related with a specific number?

May 15, 2024A: Thank you for your interest in SMs-iT.
A 1: Our Decentralized Gateway, which is an Andriod app behaves in a similar manner, however, it is smarter and has more functionalities, as you can add an unlimited number of simcards to it, as 1 master account and automate the process by using the Gateway API available as a Webhook, PHP and C# integrations.
A 2: With SMS-iT, you can use the Broadcast From Phone feature, available in the settings underneath your profile name, to change the phone number your guests see when they receive your text messages.
This number can be the number that you want guests to call, i.e Your main landline number. It can be a valid or invalid number.
A 3: We have a smart API, with a Webhook, PHP, and C# integration resources for all your integration needs. You can use our webhook to effortlessly push new customer names and phone numbers into the SMS-iT platform, so that it will identify the customers' names when they call.
A 4: Yes, this is the eventual idea, as we already have a Smart Dialer now in production.
We are creating a Smart Dialer for the Cloud and Decentralized Version, for making and receiving voice calls directly within the SMS-iT platform.
You would also have an answering machine feature, where you would be able to create unlimited prompts/trees.
Eg, Press 1 for Sales, Press 2 for Support, and so on.
To follow our roadmap to get fresh updates on when the Smart Dialer is shipped, please visit and join our community here - https://roadmap.smsit.ai
A 5: We have two smart CRM's at your disposal. The first is your Contact's section CRM and the second is the Smart Database CRM which allows you to import and manage billions of records effortlessly.
