Q: What security measures have you implemented since your recent breach in data?
You had a major security breach which led you to shutting down connection to clients and end-users.
I'd like to understand what steps you've taken to prevent similar issues in the future.
Here is an excerpt from one of your affected clients:
"Days ago, Sociamonials experienced a major security issue, and they shut down the entire program. It happens in the world of scammers and hackers, but this was a far reaching problem that has affected more than just users' posts not going out as scheduled....Sociamonials not only shut everything down, but they communicated so sparingly that we have no idea what's going to happen, when things will be fixed, and they've stopped even giving a modicum of hope anything is coming back. On top of that, we don't know if our data, or the data of our clients, is at risk."

Jul 17, 2025A: Thank you for your question and for sharing your concerns.
First, we sincerely apologize for the disruption and any anxiety caused by the security incident in May of this year. As soon as we identified suspicious activity, we immediately shut down all access to protect our clients and their data. A 3rd party security expert ended up finding no evidence that client or end-user data was compromised.
While we have hardened our current server, we went a bit overboard and created a parallel system that is currently in testing with select clients. Not to brag, but the new system uses Kubernetes and Docker, running the latest Lumen and Laravel releases in a modern, fully containerized, auto-scaling, cloud-native environment—with zero-downtime deploys, advanced security, and seamless CI/CD pipelines.
We expect the cut over to the new system in a week or so. We're planning for 2 hours of downtime for the switch.
We will communicate this to our users in advance when the switch has been scheduled. If you become a user, go to our Facebook Group to sign up as a tester.
