Q: Is AppSumo Tier 2 Worth It or Another Devalued Lifetime Deal?
Just bought the AppSumo Tier 2 lifetime subscription and need to know if it's equivalent to the Pro subscription on your website and whether it's worth the money. I'm concerned because past AppSumo purchases initially seemed good but lost significance over time; - Tykr originally had only a premium plan (I thought I'd get all future features), but then introduced Premium Plus and Advanced plans with added features, apparently to reduce lifetime deal efficacy and force users toward monthly/yearly plans. Same happened with other Sumo products like Vestinda and Code Snippets AI (complete waste of money). I hate to say it, but this seems like a pattern where companies introduce higher tiers over time to diminish the value of lifetime deals, so I want confirmation that Tier 2 matches Pro features and assurance about long-term value retention.
