Beyond Frustrated

UPDATE: Stuart, the creator, did respond again to me this morning, which I appreciate. I'm now trying his suggestion of "less is more" in the prompt and then working from there. I am simply trying to get one handsome-looking 30-something billionaire romance model. First try generated an older gentleman with one eye and horned hands. I'm not kidding. Second try generated a bearded "Michael" from The Office. Third try (after starting to put more suggestions back into the prompt) yielded the first sleeveless billionaire perhaps, also turned too "artsy-cartoony." Fourth try generated the closest to a romance novel hero, but despite using "Flux Reality," he looks like a painting, and not like a photo. I'm upping to three stars because I know others are doing better than I am. Whatever settings I need to use are not apparent.

I wanted to love this. After all, there are no refunds. The tutorial video looked amazing. But I cannot get a realistic looking male model for a book cover. I can type a prompt into Le Chat Mistral AI or Grok or ChatGPT and get it instantly. Same prompt gives me unusable crap with Supermachine. I figure it's user error, but the knowledge base just has little summaries of what the Supermachine can do without any step-by-step instructions. I had 1000 credits for the month and used over 2/3rds in a week trying to get one decent-looking romance her. And no offense, but it's like there's an effeminate filter on because the majority of the images I'm getting are not masculine. Then it starts generating unusable overly muscular dudes. I can't get a regular man. I have been in contact with the creator, Stuart. His email response was short and not too helpful. And now he's not responding, but it's the weekend, so maybe he will tomorrow on Monday. I asked if he could tell me some precise settings to use to generate x,y, & z or direct me to a part of a video tutorial that shows me the steps. Him sending me images of what he can do doesn't help me at all, nor the email that says use Flux or Stable. Tried those, but it's all the rest of the dashboard that must be messing up my images. It shouldn't be this hard. LeonardoAI is not this hard. Everyone is going with Midjourney, but I wanted to own the software, not pay every month, so I went with Supermachine. Yet still, I had to restart my LeonardoAI monthly subscription to get this book cover made. Giving it two tacos because it does generate images, but that's all I can say so far.
