Supermachine has a lot going for it, especially for anyone interested in advanced AI image generation. One of its biggest strengths is API access, which opens up a lot of creative possibilities for power users and developers. It’s also one of the few platforms to offer a version of the beautiful Hi-Dream model, rebranded here as Supermachine Dream. The platform includes several Flux models as well, giving users a wide range of options for different creative needs.

Another major plus is the value—Supermachine offers a robust set of features, especially considering the lifetime deal. For those willing to explore, there are some truly impressive models available. The newer Flux and Hi-Dream (Supermachine Dream) models, in particular, are highly usable and produce excellent results. Once you dig in, you’ll find that the platform is much more capable than it might first appear.

Now, while there’s a lot to like, there are a few areas where Supermachine could improve. The instruct edit feature, for example, was my favorite standalone option in the previous layout. Currently, it’s only available for images generated within the platform, not for initial uploads—which is a key limitation for style transfers. While I can still use this feature in the legacy version, and i can use it on existing generated images in the new environment, its missing for editing initial uploads in the new environment. This is a major function i have to still go back to legacy for when doing a style transfer because many times i don't want to generate a new image, i just want to do a style transfer. I’m also looking forward to seeing Supermachine adopt Flux Kontext in the future.

Some of the overly critical reviews out there don’t reflect the platform’s true potential. As someone who uses a lot of AI tools, I can say that while there’s always room for improvement, Supermachine offers a lot of value. I think some users try only the older models and miss out on the newer, more capable ones. My advice to the creator: you have a great platform—keep listening to your community and focus on refining what works best. For example, consider removing models with poor prompt adherence and highlight the top-performing ones like Flux Dream Machine and Supermachine Dream. This would make it easier for new users to get great results right away, without having to sift through less effective options.

Some users said there are no updates, as a user of the platform THATS FALSE, they are updating, Hi-dream literally came out a few months ago and is a new model and supermachine has it in a model they call supermachinedream. Those people bashing just haven't truly explored the whole platform. Where i do agree is that supermachine should get rid of the old models that aren't effective. But for users to say its not being updated is completely wrong.

Overall, Supermachine is a strong platform with a lot of promise. With a few targeted improvements, it could become even better and more user-friendly for everyone.
