Great Concept, Bad Execution, Worse Support

I bought Switchy to manage dozens of personalized tracking links for my summit speakers. The concept is solid. The interface looks nice. But usability? That’s where it falls apart.

The core issue: there's no easy way to identify which short link belongs to which person as you can’t see the full URL unless you copy and paste it somewhere else. Not click. Not hover. Copy. Paste. Repeatedly. For every link.

Sure, technically it can be done. But should you have to? No. This is basic functionality. Especially when you're managing 30+ links and trying to track who’s promoting and who’s not. The platform doesn’t allow you to label links in a meaningful way or view the full URL from the dashboard.

So, I reached out to support expecting, you know, support. Instead, I got “John,” who took over 24 hours to reply—and then proceeded to completely fumble the interaction.

When I pointed out the delay (which, based on other reviews, is clearly not unique to me), he tried to gaslight me with, “It’s only been 4 hours since you clarified your problem.” Right, because the original message I sent 29.5 hours ago somehow doesn’t count in the timeframe.

As a solution to the too-long wait when you’re in the middle of a summit promotion, he told me I can get faster service by upgrading to their $899/month enterprise plan. Because obviously, the solution to slow, dismissive service is to pay nearly a grand a month to be treated decently. Where do I sign up?!

I told him that all it would have taken was a simple, “I’m sorry for the delay,” and maybe even a "thank you for the suggestion." Instead, he doubled down and offered a refund. Not in a helpful way. No, more like: “Since you don’t like how long support takes, and you’re not willing to pay us more to be treated better, we’ll just refund you and you can go away.”

Frustrated, I asked to speak to a manager. I was told someone would respond “during European business hours.” That was over 24 hours ago. Still no reply.

Bottom line:
• The tool could be great.
• But the support? It’s condescending, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility.
• If you’re running anything time-sensitive or high volume, this tool will slow you down and then make you feel like you’re the problem.
• Pass on this one. Pay more to literally anyone else.

I’ll finish my summit with it since all my links are already built, but I won’t be using or recommending Switchy again. And I definitely won’t be handing over more money just to be treated like I matter.

And honestly? I wouldn’t be surprised if they see this honest review and revoke my usage. That’s the vibe I got from John. That they’ll make your life harder simply because you pointed out a flaw. Which is ironic, because my initial message wasn’t even a complaint. It was a suggestion and a request, as I was sure this was simply due to my lack of understanding of how to use the product. At best, I was hoping my real-world use could help make this product better. But apparently, offering constructive feedback is a problem.
