Ran into a few bumps on my machine but I'm sure it's just something I did wrong.
Installed v2.0, Installed v2.0 on MacBook Pro M1 (2020), macOS Sequoia 15.5. On launch, I get:
“An error occurred during the update. Please download the latest version from make.taskmagic.com/download.”
Even after reinstalling from the official site, the message persists.
Is this expected behavior in v2.0, or is there something I might’ve missed during setup?
When I try to record, I get: “Error starting recording. Please close any open Chrome browsers…” — but Chrome isn’t open. Is this a config or permissions issue?
I also received: “Your system has run out of application memory.” Could TaskMagic be running something in the background?
Any tips for M1/Sequoia users to avoid issues?
Excited to get rolling — just want to make sure I’m doing it right!
