Q: pricing query
Your product is $49 per month on your website with 15 cloud hours and it's $1600 here with 18 cloud hours. Does that mean it would take almost 3 years for an Appsumo deal buyer to break even on cost as compared to buying on your website (most other apps here are available at less than 6 months)? Or are there any other additions/deletions in the two offers to justify this steep price?

Jun 9, 2025A: AppSumo always gets the better deal. In this case more cloud hours. We do sell additional cloud hours but at a steeper price (it’s $999 for not recurring cloud hours. Here on AppSumo. Those cloud hours recur every month) On AppSumo you also get access to a proxy IP (browserVPN) which is an additional monthly cost with us as well. That’s not included in our pricing on our site. And as far as deals go…we don’t heavy heart our products so we focus on deals sustainably and we don’t just go on here to cash grab like other companies do. We come here for community! We also have a lot of other deals we give once you’re part of the lazy empire ;)
We'd like to know about this too. Pricing seems a little off. Was super excited about this deal, but we feel it's really expensive compared to the monthly deals, where monthly seems more or a deal, if we consider the cloud hours and such. If we add up Tier 4 (599$, with 0 cloud-hours) with the 12 cloud hour LTD on the website (499$), we get to 1098$, which offers more then Tier 5 for same price.
The cloud hours on our site don’t recur. On AppSumo they are monthly ;) and you get a proxy IP
Actually no, the cloud hours sold on your site are a one-time payment for monthly recurring hours: "NOW listed for a one-time lifetime price. THEN you can lock in monthly cloud hours for a one-time LIFETIME price. We also support payment plans using Klarna in our checkout.
Billed one-time". Please see the published pricing page: https://www.taskmagic.com/cloud-pricing
