Q: Scraping Booking.com and watching out for changes
I would like to buy Tier6, but only if you can confirm whether I can achieve the following processes:
- provide a list of booking.com links (city searches with certain filters)
- TaskMagic to go to link and through each page and then each hotel to retrieve hotel details (name, stars, grade - booking.com rating , address, number of reviews, 5 photos)
- save results in google sheets
- once a month check back on already saved hotels and scan for changes in grade
- if grade changed save new grade and write previous grade in another google sheets column
Please let me know if this can be achieved or to what extent it can be.

Nov 23, 2024A: Hey siones - I see your wager and I make you a counter….you get tier 6 and well why it WOULDNT work on booking.com lol. That’s a big enough site that it should work. So we can see why it wouldn’t. Anything works with manual selectors so I’m sure it’s good. Just haven’t used booking.com. We’ve just used it on Southwest Airlines
eef79ce25ecc40e7b3f13c5ed337917bMight have problems logging into booking.com with the cloudhour option, as I tried in the past and being from South Africa, the proxy was not based here and flagged it every time - not allowing me to login. However if you are going to run it locally on your machine (not cloud), id imagine perfectly fine
