Maybe your browser is cached. Try and hard refresh of the download page and lemme know

I used a different browser and indeed I could see a newer version, 2.02 which I downloaded but I still get a white screen on the software. I am using Mac 13.7.6 (22H625)

No VPN, but I can turn one on if you think it will help? I'm in Australia
Normally the only time we’ve seen an issue like this it’s been fixed by using a vpn or disabling an active vpn. If that doesn’t work for you can you write into support@taskmagic.com
