Q: Training Not Running

I bought the first-tier deal recently and tried setting up my first bot. I added 6 documents and a total of about 55K characters. I clicked to train the bot based on these data but for over 4 hours, the training isn't done yet. How long does it take? And also, does it mean I can't have any interactions with the bot unless the training is completed?

Thank you for reaching out. We've replied to your email, but I'll provide the answer here as well for visibility:

We have a queue for training, when you submit your resources they are queued and if there were other accounts who have queued their resources before yours then your resources would wait for those to complete first.

Generally you don’t wait for long, it happens almost right away, but sometimes the queue might be busy due to a long running job and you might need to wait longer than usual.

We don’t notify you when training is complete.

As for responses, we don’t wait for any training to complete, your bot would always respond if there is nothing prevents it from responding like lack of an API key.

If your bot isn’t responding at all, it is most likely due to a missing API key or lack of credits in your OpenAI account.
