A: Buddyboss is a Wordpress plugin with a Wordpress Theme. UNA has a rather different architecture to Wordpress, which is more suited for custom social networks, especially at large scale. First, we have a configuration layer, called Studio which separates configuration from Administration concerns. Second, all modules are first-class networking components designed with social networking in mind - permissions, roles, content apps (Posts, Discussions, Photos, Videos, etc), context apps (Groups, Spaces, Events, Profiles), feeds, notifications, annotations (likes, reactions, votes, etc) - everything is built from ground up for a community/social app experience.
