Q: API consumption
With the upcoming API by the end of this month (June), I want to confirm the following:
1. Will we be able to process up to 6,000 minutes for Tier 2, even if using the API - to sending recording files and getting transcripts programmatically?
2. What is the cost per additional minute on top of the provided monthly minutes should we require more minutes for a given month?

1. Yes, if you transcribe via the API, Tier 2 still includes up to 6,000 minutes per month, just like transcriptions done through the web interface.

Thanks David! I just reviewed the one-time packages and want to confirm the following:
These include a 1-year validity. Assume I get a 6,000 add-on minutes package for a given month, but only use 1,000 of these.
The following month will the system automatically uses my Tier 2 allowance of 6,000 minutes, prior to use the remaining balance of 5,000 add-on minutes?

Yes, that’s correct.
Your Tier 2 LTD plan gives you 6,000 minutes every 30 days, starting from the activation date. These expire at the end of each cycle if unused, so the system will always use them first.
Your 5,000 add-on minutes (valid for 1 year) will only be used after the LTD minutes are used up.
