Q: Would it be possible to modify the timestamps?
We are an organization that needs our YouTube videos translated into multiple languages.
Currently UniScribe establishes timestamps approximately every 5-10 seconds. This poses a problem when translating given that translation machines read paragraph by paragraph and thus mistranslate content that is cut off. Therefore, it would be helpful to modify and request timestamps every 30 seconds instead of every 5 seconds. Would it be possible to modify this?

At the moment, UniScribe doesn’t support directly modifying the subtitle timestamp intervals. However, we are currently exploring the possibility of allowing users to customize subtitle formatting, including the number of lines and characters per segment. This would help reduce the frequency of breaks and improve compatibility with translation tools.
But this feature is still on our roadmap and may take some time before it’s available. We truly appreciate your feedback and will keep this in mind as we continue to improve UniScribe.
