Very powerful for small teams, zero learning curve

Preamble: My team and I have gone through a few project management solutions in the past 3 years, often times combinations were necessary (e.g. Asana + Slack, or Motion plus Zoho, etc..) For the last half year we've found a solution that combined the PM stuff (like Asana), and the Comm stuff (like Slack), and had an app for the smartphone, we were really happy and productive. However, their pricing was absurdly high, especially since when we needed a 6th member on the team you had to buy 10 seats because they only deal in 5-user-steps, so for that reason, I went to search for a new solution. Enter Upbase..

Upbase combines the PM stuff (either in lists or boards) and the comm Stuff (in channels, just like you're used to from Slack etc) and has calendars, documents, files etc. per List/Project as well. That means, it combines in 1 tool (browser based on mac and ipad, app based on iphone) what used to be the job of a couple tools. They also have more functionality like adding files and stuff, however I've not used that since we heavily use google drive for this. The setup time is seconds and the learning curve is zero, everything is self explanatory. Even the 50+ year old guy, who hates every new tool, got into it right away. Please do not underestimate the price that you indirectly pay if you use software that takes a while to learn/understand/use well, and how it can annoy people on your team. So the promise of simplicity is definitely kept.

What is also very important for me when judging software is the quality of support. We've had an issue that was a mistake on our end, and Tony went out of his way to solve this for us.

I've bought a lot of stuff on Appsumo over the years, there were a few winners that made it all totally worth it, but also a lot of stuff that just sits on the shelf because it never turned into anything. With upbase, I have a strong feeling this will be a winner. Project management is cumbersome in itself, especially for creative people, so the easier it is, or the less work and learning it requires, the better, and the fewer jumps between tools needed, the better as well. Upbase has this covered, a child could understand and use it right away, its fast, and still has more functionality for those people who want to go into detail and nerd it out.

To whomever took the time to read all this, get some codes before the deal ends, this will speed up your project management an team communications right away, and save you a lot of money in the long run, as tools that are so well built, easy to use and still powerful, and cover everything that you need, do not come cheap. Once Tony establishes Upbase on the market, I'm sure the pricing will go up too, and imo that would be well deserved.

Tony, you've created a super product that "just works", with efficiency and effectiveness. In a world that becomes more and more distracting and complicated by the day, this is needed. Much success to you!
