Smart idea, but critical flaws in responsiveness and user flow

I had high hopes for this product, the concept behind mini site is genuinely smart, aiming to showcase your BioBars with short cuts to CTA's as subpages when visitors click your URL. Unfortunately, the execution misses the mark.

Support was polite and professional, but slow, and it took quite some time to set everything up for my client. Then I discovered a major issue: the mini sites aren’t responsive. On mobile view, the profile section (the left section "BioBars", meant to be the main attraction) gets pushed below the other pages, completely hiding what should be front and centre.

This defeats the purpose of a BioBar. Visitors clicking your link should land on the profile, not have to scroll past other pages to find it. When I raised this, I was told responsiveness wasn’t a priority and they couldn’t promise if or when it would be addressed.

I was willing to wait 2–3 weeks, but with no commitment in sight (and the refund window closing), I had no choice but to request a refund. My client was disappointed, and frankly so was I.

The idea has great potential, but until it delivers basic responsiveness and logical mobile-first prioritisation, I can’t recommend it for professional use.

Hello Marcus,
Thank you for your review and for believing in our potential! We appreciate your thoughtful and professional suggestions regarding responsiveness to mobile versions.

Your concern is clear to us, and, as I mentioned in the support conversation, we are working on possible changes to the page view from mobile.

Urals' core feature is building many pages fast, which means that the content of the page itself is central. The cover/'biobar' is more of an 'about' section or a bio like you have on social media accounts. As a user, you might also check one's bio, but the content is your priority.

In our support conversation, I offered to create a collection of socials/links that the biobar contained to make them accessible from the page. For this alternative, the cover section may be left empty (just name and avatar) to avoid content duplication.

I did not tell you that responsiveness was not a priority. I explained that we cannot promise such updates will be released within the refund window. It is not about priorities, it is about us being realistic and honest with you. Thank you for understanding!

Please feel free to ask any questions :)
