This is REVOLUTIONARY. I snagged Tier 1 and missed the opp to upgrade. I hope they come back. I had tried an article through the free account first, to be safe. I provided a long-form guide I wrote as a baseline for writing style, including additional writing guidelines.

VIDEO TO BLOG F'ING **NAILED IT**. SUPER impressive. Barring a few very minor idiosyncrasies (I'm anal like that), I don't know that any third party would be able to tell I hadn't written it myself.

I *immediately* signed up.

Note to everyone else who uses AI for content gen, AI writing is *going to* sound like AI writing because... AI is writing it. Despite your style guidelines, brand voice, etc., ad nauseum. The only key I've found to get this to cease is to feed it writing samples. (NOT ones you've generated with AI's assistance; truly 100% manual ones.) It's only then that you'll get the human quality you want.

Even then, you'll have to train it a bit to not overuse your standard tropes, etc., and way of writing... because the mimicry can be a bit comical. Like, "Awww, sweetheart, you tried *so hard*, bless your heart!" And an "l-o-l," to boot. But you'll find a sweet spot once you diligently train with your human samples, and it'll be no stopping you.

The AMAZING thing about Video to Blog, for me, is that it required far, far less of this tweaking. Now, when I generated another blog after purchase, for another niche ... no matter how many times I tweaked and regenerated, it still didn't capture our style. I think that could have something to do with the fact that the video I fed it was only 3 minutes, was a tutorial video on something very specific, so the AI was trying to "fill in the blanks" (a lot) to create a full 700 word article.

Will be trying again super-soon because this tool has so many amazing features, I can see it's going to be a HUGE RELIEF to help us get more content to press quickly -- at the high quality our brands must have.

I hope they consider coming back to Appsumo so I can upgrade right away.

Honestly, calling VideoToBlog just a tool to turn videos into blog posts doesn’t do it justice. This thing is next-level. The amount of control you get over how your blog turns out is seriously impressive.

You just drop in a YouTube link or upload a video, and it transcribes and summarises everything super accurately and then writes an amazing post based on high-quality instructions. What’s cool is you can tweak stuff after it’s finished, like the tone and how detailed you want it, so you’re not stuck with some boring generic output—you can make it sound exactly how you want.

The editor is very easy to use, too. You can quickly fix up the post and add or remove parts, and it even suggests images and headings to make it look nicer. Plus, it’s got SEO stuff built right in, so your posts are set to do well on Google.

Bottom line: VideoToBlog doesn’t just save you a bunch of time (which it totally does), but it also gives you tons of control over the final product. It makes turning videos into awesome blog posts way faster and way better. If you want to repurpose video content without losing quality, this tool is definitely worth checking out.

I am going to suggest a couple of tweaks, like a verbatim output for those occasions you need a detailed say interview where output accuracy is required. But this is my go-to tool for a range of uses.

I purchased this deal because I contribute to various publications and it's easier for me record a video on what I want to say. So this app makes that very easy to do. I can record right in the software as I speak about my topic, then it quickly turns around an almost-finished piece. Huge time saver!

I’ve tested several tools for automated content in WordPress articles, but none really impressed me — until this one. It’s absolutely brilliant. If you create YouTube videos, this tool is worth it. It lets you quickly repurpose your content on your website and saves you a ton of work. Thanks for this amazing tool — I'm truly impressed.

I bought Video to Blog on its first App Sumo go-round. My only regret is not choosing a higher tier. Previously I had a workflow where I'd transcribe our videos using Gleam. I would summarize with ChatGPT then use the summary and transcript to prompt an LLM (voice, tone, links to include, keywords, format, and other considerations). It was a pain in the taco and output was inconsistent.

I figured Video to Blog might save me a few minutes and make the process easier to explain and hand off to the (small) content team. To say I was pleasantly surprised with Video to Blog would be an understatement. Assuming quality video in, the written content out is impressive to say the least. These are a few of my favourite things 🎶
