I do not know how to get an API key.
Is it a paid service to get API?
What does it mean in plain English; to link to our API :)

To use VidTechy’s optional AI features, you can connect your own AI API key. This is only needed if you want AI-generated suggestions (like from OpenAI or Gemini). For regular suggestions based on YouTube data, you don’t need to add any API key — those work by default.
Is it paid? (BYOK - Bring Your Own Key)
Yes — if you choose to use AI features, OpenAI or Gemini will charge based on usage. It’s usually affordable for light use, and you can even set a spending limit in your AI provider’s account.

Many thanks - so if I only want to use it to look at growing my you tube channel - suggested titles - topics - themes - searches etc then I do not need to use API at this stage - I guess later I could if I wanted to ?

For titles, topics, keywords, and channel growth — VidTechy gives suggestions by default, no API key needed.
If you ever want extra AI-based suggestions, you can add your API key later — it’s totally optional.
