Lots of tools.. but not a lot of unique or useful functionality yet

Lots of individual tools, but not a good hand off between the collection of tools for exploring keywords and titles, optimizing in context, etc.

Also so far I am only getting errors trying to use the AI features with Tier 3, with that "not implemented", for title / keyword suggestion.. and rewriting a description tool a 1000 words and turned it into 70 characters, as if it was writing a title instead of a description.. buggy.

The keyword research and competitor analysis seems on par with other tools like it, but the hand-off between parts of this platform to optimize and develop videos will have to be implemented before it will be very useful. Even the research side has somewhat clunky information flow, for instance, with no ability to drill down on a competitor (identified as having lots of search results), or see their channel name fully, even, when searching videos up by keyword, though you can analyze channels if looking by competitors or you already know the channel...

Just some basic things like that, in terms of an actual app flow seem really missing. Feels like 10 or so tools all put together, in hopes of being a workbench for YouTube SEO, but with only some of the tools ready.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a detailed review — we genuinely appreciate your honesty and thoughtful feedback 🙏

You’re right that VidTechy currently offers a wide range of tools, and our goal is to make it a true all-in-one platform for YouTube marketing. The core of our product is built around Video SEO — and inside that, you can research keywords, analyze videos, optimize metadata, manage tasks, and streamline your workflow all in one place.

Regarding the AI features: Users need to connect their own API key for full access. The issue where a 1000-word description was rewritten as a 70-character output does sound odd — we’ll definitely investigate that, as we tested this feature thoroughly before release. Still, it’s a newly added module, and we’re committed to ironing out any bugs quickly.

About keyword and competitor research — we actually have multiple tools under each category: Topic Research, YouTube Autosuggest, Keyword Analyzer, and more. Similarly, our Competitor Analyzer breaks down both videos and channels with a lot of granular insights. If something felt clunky or unclear in the flow, we’d love to hear more specifics — feel free to reach out via support or post in our Facebook group so we can improve that experience. Also, all data is pulled directly from YouTube’s API, so it’s accurate and not from a third-party database.

You’re also right about the app flow — and we hear you! We’re already planning updates to make the workflow more seamless across tools based on feedback like yours.

Thanks again for trying out VidTechy and helping us improve — we hope to earn a higher rating from you soon as we roll out updates 🚀
