Promising But Still Very Basic
I really wanted to like Weavernote. I think the concept is promising but the execution is still way too primitive for my needs. It starts with a Google Keep-style interface but supplies Markdown, kanban and graphs, and note linking. There's also a built-in AI assistant (of course there is) but I never got around to using it because my experience was clunky and slightly buggy. I think with the right development this product will become powerful and very useful for power note-makers, but for me it's just not the tool I need at the moment.

May 13, 2025Thanks a ton for giving Weavernote a shot and for sharing such honest feedback - I really appreciate it.
Totally hear you on the current experience feeling a bit clunky. We're still early in our journey, and while the foundation is there (linked notes, markdown, kanban, AI, etc.), we're actively working on polishing the experience and squashing those bugs that get in the way.
Your note about it being promising but basic is actually motivating - it means we're on the right path, just not fully there yet for power users probably. But we will be!
Thanks again for the 3 tacos - it means a lot even if the fit wasn’t perfect just yet!
