Q: Deleting a Website and Losing the License Credit Issue

Hi, I’ve seen in the Q&A that once a domain is added, it can’t be deleted or replaced, as a way to prevent misuse. With respect, I’ve used many SaaS tools that limit the number of domains, but none have locked credits permanently like this. It’s honestly the first time I’ve come across such a restriction. Normally, if you remove a domain, the licence becomes inactive for that site — simple and fair. I don’t see why this needs to be more complicated. I have nothing against your company, but some of these responses raise concerns instead of building trust. It feels restrictive rather than customer-friendly, especially for a paid lifetime deal. I hope you’ll reconsider this approach.

A: Thank you for the thoughtful feedback, Sye — we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

You're absolutely right that flexibility matters, and after carefully re-evaluating our policy, we’re happy to share that we’ll be rolling out domain recycling within the next 2 days. This will allow users to remove a domain and reuse that slot—bringing our approach more in line with what you (and others) have requested.

Our original restriction was intended to prevent misuse of lifetime deals, but we agree it shouldn’t come at the cost of fairness or trust. Thanks again for your honest input—it directly helped shape this update.

Feel free to reach out at support@webability.io if you'd like to be notified when it goes live.

I have to agree.. infact I am considering refunding. But, WebAbility, please explain how moving domains can lead to abuse. If there is a risk, fair enough. But, you cant use your tool to scrape data, fix issues and then move on .. this scenario could present a misuse risk. Your tool either works on a site or it doesn't. If removed from a site, there is no residual gain for that site.

Thank you for your feedback!
The initial domain lock was due to the high costs of AI processing and resources. If domains were recycled multiple times, it would quickly result in losses on our end.
However, based on your feedback, we’re rolling out site recycling in 2 days to offer more flexibility while maintaining a fair model for both sides.
We appreciate your input it helped shape this update
