Q: Timestamps per each paragraph
Is it possible to generate a Full text transcript that shows the timestamps per each paragraph and not only per speaker? Thanks

Thanks for the question! Currently we offer indeed only timestamps per word, or whenever the speaker changes. Adding the timestamps per paragraph could be something we add in the future. Could you share what your use case for this would be?

donald.furlanoHi Laurin, certainly. When I create a video course, I like to also provide the audio MP3 version and the text transcript. In this case, if there were a timestamp at the beginning of each paragraph, the student could easily synchronize reading the transcript with the MP3, and would always know at what point they have arrived.
Since I am the only speaker, there would only be a single timestamp at the beginning, and there would be no other references to synchronize the text with the audio.
If you believe this functionality can be implemented in a short amount of time, I can consider making a purchase.

Hi Donald,
I expect we will have something like this in the next 6-8 weeks. This feature itself is not a huge change to how our app works but we will in general rework our transcription view to make editing easier and provide more options to format, export and change the transcript. This will be part of this feature update hence it will take some time before we will release it into the app.
