Q: 2FA email not being sent to appropriate email address.
Dear Developers,
I recently purchased this plugin and the 2FA is not sending to the email I stated during configuration. I decided to deactivate. Should I delete the plugin and reinstall it?
I recently purchased your tool; however, it states that it captures my IP to prevent me from being locked out of WordPress. The issue is that I travel and use a VPN, so my IP changes. This concerns me, as I might get locked out of my own WordPress site while traveling or using a VPN. Could you please let me know if you have a solution for unblocking IPs in my situation? If not, and if it only works this way, I may need to request a refund, as I donโt want to risk being locked out of my WordPress account.
A: Hi, Thanks for purchasing and using WP Login Lockdown.
If you go to the Login Form Protection settings and open the Tools tab, you will find the unique Recovery URL for your site. Simply copy it and store it somewhere safe; in case you lock yourself out for any reason, this URL will let you log in :)
If you need any further help with this or any other feature, please contact us via email.
Thank you just found it after testing the tool more :)
Q: Block / Prevent download kind of files
Hello, is possible to prevent download files? or denied the access when the robots, crawlers try to download my files (images, pdf, etc)?.... if not, I think it will be a great feature... What do you think guys?
Q: Can you assign recaptcha to any specific URLs even non-typical WP login/form pages?
Hi, can you assign this tool to place a RECAPTCHA to specific URLs not always on every instance of WP? Example of this is WooCommerce, which has its own login URL, registration URL, and password reset URL. Same with plugins like LMS which add an entire other set of URLs, so I am wondering if I can apply this thing to any specific URL or ANY/ALL URLs containing a web form, like a custom contact form, signup, etc.? Thanks.
A: Hi, Thanks for your interest in WP Login Lockdown!
The Captcha provided in the plugin will work only on the WP login form to ensure bots can't attack your login page.
If you are looking to protect other forms on your site (like the comments form, WooCommerce, EDD, or BuddyPress), please check out our other plugin WP Captcha: getwpcaptcha.com
